Tell us about your current position?
I'm a student and am the Public Relations Intern at KVIE Public Television.
Prior to that?
I've been around the country working on political causes, and most recently worked on local anti-bullying and school violence initiatives.
What is your educational background?
I went to Oregon State University, but returned to my native California to finish at CSU Sacramento!
What do you love about living here?
The ability to make connections with a large swath of individuals that share a vision of elevating Sacramento into a place where young people want to stay. In one week I can make connections or attend events with peers representing arts, entertainment, politics, finance, recreation, development, education, the environment, law, etc. Established professionals in these areas are knowledgeable, accessible and, for the most part, willing to help young leaders develop skills used to steward our region for the next generation.
What is one thing that might surprise people about you?
I know the bartenders on Amtrak by name.
