A Message from the 2025 Metro EDGE Program Chair, Katie Durham
Hello Metro EDGE members & key partners,
I’m honored to serve as the 2025 Metro EDGE Program Chair! This year, our incredible Leadership Council is all about momentum—building on the energy cultivated post-pandemic to create more opportunities for Sacramento’s young professionals to grow, connect, and lead.
As a Sacramento native with a background in public outreach, my passion lies in connecting people to resources and their communities. Metro EDGE embodies that spirit, offering YPs chances to step out of their comfort zones, build networks, and embrace new experiences.
This year’s Leadership Council reflects Sacramento’s diversity and is dedicated to supporting our members’ growth while enhancing our region, and I’m humbled to work with such a passionate group of our next generation’s leaders. Our 100% volunteer team is committed to making 2025 Metro EDGE’s best year yet.
Here’s what we have planned for 2025:
- Engaging Experiences: Events designed to foster connections and provide valuable resources.
- Professional Insights: Behind-the-Scenes tours showcasing Sacramento’s vibrant industries.
- Community Impact: Service opportunities to give back and explore nonprofit board leadership.
- Leadership Growth: Mixers to expand networks and inspire future leaders.
I hope to see you at the next First Friday Lunch, Mixer, Volunteer Day, or Professional Development Day! Together, we’ll create momentum that elevates young professionals in our region, building a stronger, more connected Sacramento. Thank you for the opportunity to lead Metro EDGE for 2025!
