Presented annually at the illustrious Annual Dinner & Business Awards hosted by the Sacramento Metro Chamber, the Metro EDGE Young Professional of the Year Award recognizes a member of Metro EDGE who has made exceptional and sustained contributions to the Capitol Region and young professional community.

This award recognizes a member of Metro EDGE who has made exceptional and sustained contributions to the Sacramento Region and business community and will be presented at the illustrious Annual Dinner & Business Awards hosted by the Sacramento Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce annually. Eligibility
Nominees must be a Metro EDGE member in good standing for at least one year and be a current Metro Chamber member.
Nominees must be active in Metro EDGE. Active members are defined as those who have served, or are currently serving, on a Metro EDGE committee or those who have attended/participated in Metro EDGE networking, professional development, philanthropy, or regional action events.
Nominees who have received the Young Professional of the Year Award in the past are not eligible to apply.
Criteria
Criteria for the award will be used in the recipient selection process. Nominees will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Metro EDGE Involvement: Evidence of upholding the Metro EDGE mission statement, interest in pursuing the Metro EDGE vision, and overall dedication to driving Metro EDGE forward.
- Professional and Community Leadership: Evidence of involvement, demonstrated accomplishments, and leadership positions held in Metro EDGE and other professional organizations, and/or community service.
