Metro EDGE's most popular event, Executive Insight is tomorrow! Insight is your opportunity to hear the secrets to career success and what it takes to have an impact on the future of Sacramento business. This is a fantastic event and is, truly, the essence of what Metro EDGE is about – inspiring and engaging the future business and community leaders of our region.
For those of you who are attending Executive Insight for the first time, the Leadership Council of Metro EDGE thought we should give you a quick overview of the event to share with you everything you need to know about this amazing night.
Date: Thursday, August 15, 2013. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Program begins promptly at 6:30 p.m. and is scheduled to end at 8:30 p.m.
Registration: Register today! This event has limited capacity and has always sold out in the past. In fact, there are only a few tickets left! Tickets are $25 and available to EDGE Members only.

Location: Event is at the Citizen Hotel at the corner of J Street and 10th Street. When you enter the hotel, proceed to the elevators on the left and head to the 7th Floor.
Parking: Valet service will be available at the Citizen Hotel. Valet will cost $10 for the event. Don’t forget to tip your valet attendant! There is also ample street parking in the area (metered until 6 p.m.) and City garages are close as well:
- City Hall Garage: Enter on 11th Street between I Street and J Street (10th Street entrance is closed)
- Capitol Garage: 10th Street and L Street

Check-in: Registration begins at 5:30pm. Cocktail hour goes until 6:30pm and then our program will begin. The event is scheduled to end at 8:30pm and after event networking will continue downstairs at Grange Restaurant & Bar.
Event Overview: After a short introductory panel discussion, executives will head out into the crowd and rotate from table to table to field questions from you on topics ranging from business acumen and leadership to how to balance family and business success. Have a question you’d like to ask? Please bring it and participate in the conversation!
Food & drink: During the event you may want to have a snack and enjoy a cocktail. Your ticket price includes delicious hosted bites from Grange Restaurant. Additionally, there will be a no-host bar so be sure to bring cash to enjoy.
What to wear: Business professional. You will be mixing and mingling with 11 of the region’s top leaders, so be sure to dress to impress.
- Ladies: A nice dress, skirt with blouse, or even slacks with a great top.
- Men: Slacks, blazers and collared shirt. And of course, the no-fail option: Suit up!
What to bring: Your business cards, questions for our Executives, cash for drinks, and the most important thing – your inquiring mind!
