Are you curious about the Downtown/Riverfront Streetcar project? This is your chance to take part in a free and fun event where you will see and learn about the future of one of the region’s most exciting projects. Join fellow Edgers on Saturday, May 9, for a bike ride along the future 3.3 mile streetcar line, which will extend from the West Sacramento Civic Center to the Midtown entertainment and retail district in Sacramento. The project will create a vital link between West Sacramento and Sacramento, connecting many of the existing shopping, dining, lodging and entertainment destinations.
The bike tour will include entertaining and educational breaks at businesses and public spaces along the route, and you’ll learn about the Streetcar project, and the neighborhoods, projects and businesses in West Sacramento and Sacramento that the Streetcar project will benefit. The event is sponsored by West Sacramento Mayor Pro Tem Chris Ledesma and Sacramento City Councilmember Steve Hansen, and they encourage you to bring cash for eats and drinks at businesses along the route.

Finish: 19th & L in front of Capitol Dime
