Celebrate 6 years of young professional leadership on the birthday of Metro EDGE and what we like to call Sacramento Day - 9/16! Four walls couldn’t hold EDGE's largest party of the year so we're taking it to streets at the Ice Blocks development between 17th and 18th Streets with music, food, drinks, and of course great networking.
The celebration will feature "PORTAL," a temporary art installation "that serves as a flexible space for community members to visualize the future of the region. The installation operates as an urban incubator for discovery, gathering, and experimentation." It will be the art feature's last day outside the Ice Blocks development, as it will be whisked away to join the revelry at TBD Fest, kicking off Friday, September 18.
A DJ set from Sister Crayon, 2014 TBD Fest artist and locally-grown group, will provide the soundtrack for the art and networking exploration.
To keep bellies full of food in addition to the fun, everyone's favorite sausage peddling hotspot Low Brau will be serving up hosted bites all evening. Thank you to Low Brau for always being a staunch supporter of EDGE and the ambitions of all Sacramento young professionals.
Plan to bring your game face and challenge some friends to some giant Jenga and cornhole, provided by XOSO.
