Volunteers Needed

It’s hammer time EDGErs! Next Move is in need of volunteers for the Let’s Play Sacramento project, happening June 15-17, with the big need for volunteers on the build day, June 17. This three-day project will result in a new playground and assembled sports equipment to help ensure that children at Next Move and across Sacramento get the play they need.  Volunteering includes coffee and food!

Build Week Schedule
Prep Day 1: Wednesday, June 15th, 2016
30-40 volunteers from the community are needed.

  • 8:00 AM - Volunteers arrive and register
  • 8:30 AM - Prep Day begins!
  • 4:00 PM - All prep work completed (approximate time)

Prep Day 2: Thursday, June 16th, 2016
10-15 volunteers from the community should be on "stand-by" in case they are needed.

  • 8:00 AM - Volunteers arrive and register
  • TBD - All prep work completed

Build Day: Friday, June 17th, 2016
225 volunteers from Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Next Move and the community are needed.

  • 8:00 AM - Volunteers arrive and register
  • 8:30 AM - Kick-Off Ceremony
  • 2:30 PM - Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony
