I originally joined Metro EDGE back in 2010 and served on the Communications committee. I joined EDGE in an effort to get more involved in the community, network with other young professionals, and to further develop professional skills. Just two years later I accepted a promotion to hire/manage an East Coast sales team. My wife and I moved to New York City, and then to Nashville, but ultimately Sacramento was calling us home.
There is no other place I’d rather live than in the greater Sacramento area. Yes, being centrally located between Lake Tahoe and San Francisco is wonderful, but what makes Sacramento great is everything else the region has to offer. Whether it’s enjoying one of the many farm-to-fork restaurants, biking the American River Trail, cheering for our beloved Kings, appreciating the art scene, learning from one of the many Colleges & Universities, or searching for a lost ball on one of the many golf courses - Sacramento has something to offer everyone.
I currently work as an Employee Benefits Consultant with Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. helping mid-size companies to manage the cost of insurance, and to navigate the complexities of Healthcare Reform. I’m excited to Co-Chair the Networking & Events Committee as it offers a glimpse into all facets of what EDGE offers. When I’m not at work, you can find me on the golf course, or channeling my inner Bob Villa with a home improvement project.
