Sean O’Brien
Membership Co-Chair
A founding member of Metro EDGE, Sean was elected chair of the program in 2011 and began serving his one-year term in January 2012 and now represents EDGE membership as the program’s Past Chair at events and speaking engagements. Sean has six years of experience in finance and serves as a financial adviser with Merrill Lynch. Sean has received numerous awards in his short career, including being named one of Sacramento’s Top 40 Under 40 by the Sacramento Business Journal and honored by Big Brothers, Big Sisters for his efforts to raise more than $20,000 for the organization and recruiting over 100 men to be a Big Brother. Sean graduated from Saint Mary’s College with a Bachelor of Science in Business and is an alumnus of Sacramento’s Jesuit High School. Sean enjoys living in midtown Sacramento where he can be found out and about every day of the week with the exception of NASCAR race days.
