Verna Sulpizio
Political Action Committee Chair
A founding member of Metro EDGE, Verna has been active with the Networking & Events Committee since 2009. Verna is a graduate of the University of California, Davis with a degree in Community and Regional Development and works as a project manager at Civitas Advisors, California’s premier consultant in forming, modifying, and renewing improvement districts. She was honored by CalTravel in 2012 as an Emerging Leader for her work in the modification of the Sacramento Tourism Marketing District. In addition to serving as the Metro PAC representative of Metro EDGE, she sits on the Board of Directors for the Urban Land Institute Young Leaders Group Sacramento Chapter. When she’s not working with clients or planning fun and exciting networking events for EDGE, you can usually find Verna out on the town or playing kickball; she’s the Captain of one of Sacramento’s longest running kickball teams – Red Balls & Vodka.
