Statement from Metro EDGE Chair Ryan Porter on City Council’s Approval of ESC Term Sheet
SACRAMENTO – Metro EDGE Chair Ryan Porter issued the following statement today following the Sacramento City Council’s vote to support a $448 million public-private partnership to develop a new entertainment and sports center:
“Metro EDGE applauds the City Council’s approval of a financing plan to develop a new downtown entertainment and sports complex. The vote not only demonstrates a commitment to keeping the Sacramento Kings but also to core city development, job creation and regional economic growth, and once again displays the community’s dedication to ensuring Sacramento continues to be a great place to live, work and play. ”
